Job Description

We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to support the evolution of customer experience initiatives and help deliver cohesive, user-centered digital experiences across complex applications and platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on UX design experience, proficiency with Figma, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with product, engineering, business, and architecture teams.

Key Responsibilities

Support the evolution of Customer Experience (CX), including CX portfolios, roadmaps, and reference architecture.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer experience strategy and design best practices.

Help implement applications and platforms while maintaining a cohesive end-to-end customer experience.

Participate in project delivery and work through challenges across multiple teams, roles, and organizations.

Work closely with UI/UX designers, business analysts, product owners, architects, and engineering teams.

Create and contribute to concept service designs and UX artifacts.

Develop and implement personas, journey maps, storyboards, and other experience-design deliverables.

Apply strong problem-solving skills to identify challenges and develop executable solutions.

Collaborate with CX architects, technical architects, and data/content owners to define requirements and experience elements.

Stay current with emerging UX/UI trends, tools, methodologies, and experience-design practices.

Work with business partners, product teams, and other stakeholders to understand customer and business needs.

Communicate effectively regarding design decisions, investments, architectural changes, and business requirements.

Work directly with dealers and end customers when required.

Identify both obvious and less-obvious experience problems and recommend appropriate solutions.

Team Environment

Work as part of a product team alongside 2–3 other UX Designers.

Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Front-End/Back-End Development Leads.

Work autonomously while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with product and engineering teams.

Hybrid work environment, with in-office presence required when requested.

Candidates located in the Peoria area may be required to work from the office more frequently.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, OR

Master's degree with 5+ years of experience.

3+ years of UX Design experience.

3+ years of experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar UX/UI software.

At least 1+ year of hands-on Figma experience.

Strong experience designing user experiences for complex applications or digital environments.

Excellent communication and stakeholder-interaction skills.

Ability to ask insightful questions and translate business/customer needs into effective design solutions.

Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work closely with product and engineering teams.

Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of experience designing complex systems or applications.

Experience designing complete digital environments and end-to-end customer experiences.

Experience working with product owners, architects, developers, business analysts, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

Experience creating personas, journey maps, storyboards, service designs, and related UX artifacts.
