Direct Counsel is seeking a
Finance (Commercial Lending) Associate Attorney to join a leading global law firm. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience representing banks, private credit funds, and other financial institutions in commercial lending transactions.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience representing banks, private credit funds, and other financial institutions in commercial lending transactions. Experience representing lenders in single-lender and syndicated credit facilities. Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security agreements, guaranties, collateral documents, pledge agreements, intercreditor agreements, and related financing documentation. Experience with venture debt, acquisition finance, asset-based lending, second lien, or mezzanine financing.

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple transactions simultaneously. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely explain complex matters. Strong attention to detail and a process-oriented approach. Independent thinker with a strong commitment to client service. Collaborative approach and desire to take on increasing levels of responsibility. Must be admitted to the Massachusetts bar.

Compensation:
$260,000-$365,000 annually, plus potential discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.
