Location: Ledbury
Hours: 40 hours, Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:00

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an HR Advisor to join a growing food manufacturing business in Ledbury.

This is a hands-on, generalist HR role with a strong Employee Relations focus. Working alongside the Head of People, you will provide practical HR support to managers and employees while helping to develop people practices and support the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
• Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and welfare matters.
• Conduct workplace investigations and prepare reports and recommendations.
• Support and coach managers through HR processes.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and probation processes.
• Prepare contracts, letters and other HR documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
• Support the development and review of HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure HR practices remain legally compliant.
• Support employee engagement, wellbeing and development initiatives.
• Assist with HR projects, organisational change and continuous improvement.

About You

Essential:

• Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Coordinator or Generalist HR role.
• Strong Employee Relations experience.
• Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience managing disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability matters.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and organisational skills.

Desirable:

• CIPD Level 5 qualified, working towards it or willing to work towards it.
• Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, logistics or another operational environment.
• Experience supporting organisational growth or change.
• Experience with HR systems, employee engagement or payroll.
