Job Description
SC Cleared User Researcher
3-6 month contract + very likely extension
£600-£650 per day Inside IR35
Starting mid-late October
Working 1-2 days per week in either London or Manchester
Project context:
- The successful candidate will join the Content Development team (Social and video). The hiring managers are looking for candidates who will inspire that area, however experience within that space is not essential. Candidates who are excited and passionate about working in this space are desired for this role.
- There are three streams of work:
- Youtube commissions (Longer form YouTube content)
- Platform video
- Social space (Investigating which channels to adopt next
- The three streams collaborate as much as possible are continually expanding their teams. As a result, this is more of a start-up culture, focussed on discovery processes
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Confident working independently, not relying heavily on instructions, guidance or strong processes
- Able to deal with conflicting requests and prioritise as required
- Enthusiastic individual who is ready to jump in and get involved with the team
- Evidenced experience in educating and directing team/s, focusing on the right research and adopting a wide range of methods/approaches to deliver best results
- Minimum three years' experience in a hands-on research role within a government, public sector, or similar environment.
- Proven ability to design and execute qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for synthesising complex information into clear insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and conducting user research activities to gather insights from diverse user groups.
- Analysing research data and translating findings into actionable recommendations for design teams.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure user needs are central to project deliverables.
- Facilitating workshops, interviews, and testing sessions to validate design concepts.
- Producing clear reports and presentations to communicate research insights effectively.
- Supporting the implementation of research methodologies that align with project goals and compliance standards.
