We are a small family run business, CQC rated Outstanding with a key focus to provide exceptional Care and Companionship in Stevenage, Hitchin, Letchworth, Royston and surrounding areas. We have a small office team, providing excellent, constant support to our CAREGiver family.
Your role will vary day to day, dependent on the client’s requirements, you could be taking Joyce out to the Garden Centre, helping Brian to have some lunch and take his medication and later in the day provide assistance for Margaret to get ready for bed and feed the dog. Our CAREGivers don’t wear uniform, as we believe this only accentuates the receiving of care. As a CAREGiver you will carry out duties appearing just like a friend or companion.
We support you; this includes providing:
- Holiday pay
- Pension scheme and a range of company benefits – Health Care Scheme
- Award winning training provided as well as continual training opportunities both online and workshops, including Care Certificate and advanced Dementia training.
- Opportunities for career progression
- Mileage and travel time allowance
- Minimum of one-hour calls so you get to spend quality time with your Client and no rushing between.
- Consistency - you will see the same Client at the same time each week, this provides great consistency and builds a relationship with the Client as well as giving you the ability to plan your life
- Employee assistance program for your health and welfare
- Opportunities for Career progression
If you have a passion for caring and the motivation to help us achieve our ambitions, we would love to hear from you.
We encourage applications from all sections of the community as we want to reflect the neighbourhoods in which we work. Home Instead is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults and expects all staff to share this commitment. This role is subject to DBS enhanced disclosure.
