Regulatory Policy Lead

I’m supporting a leading industry body in the UK utilities sector with the appointment of a Regulatory Policy Lead. This is a high profile opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of UK water regulation at a time of significant sector reform.

The successful candidate will sit at the heart of the policy debate, developing positions on some of the most important issues facing the sector, including consumer policy, corporate governance, strategic planning and the future regulatory framework.

You’ll have significant exposure to senior stakeholders across government, regulators, think tanks and industry, with the opportunity to influence policy, bring different perspectives together and shape the direction of regulation over the coming years.

This is not a traditional regulatory role. It offers the opportunity to take complex policy and regulatory issues, develop clear and evidence based positions, and have a genuine influence on how the sector evolves. Water sector experience is not essential.
