Job Description

Job Title: SAP S/4HANA PMO / Project Coordinator

Job Type: Contract – 6+ Months
Location: Milpitas, CA 95035 – 100% Onsite, 5 Days/Week
Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA PMO / Project Coordinator to support a major ERP transformation program in Milpitas, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP S/4HANA, PMO/project coordination, SIT/UAT testing, change management, business readiness, defect tracking, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.

This role will support the remaining S/4HANA and Ariba build activities, testing, change management, business readiness, cutover, go-live, and stabilization activities. The successful candidate will work closely with business SMEs, IT teams, testing/data teams, change management teams, and system integration partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide PMO and project coordination support across SAP S/4HANA and Ariba transformation activities.
  • Support build-phase tracking, documentation review, status reporting, action-item follow-up, and dependency management.
  • Coordinate with business SMEs, IT teams, and system integrator partners to track deliverables and resolve outstanding items.
  • Support SIT and UAT preparation and execution using approved test cases, scenarios, scripts, and schedules.
  • Maintain testing trackers covering test readiness, execution progress, defects, retesting, evidence, and sign-off inputs.
  • Perform assigned testing activities and document results and supporting evidence.
  • Track and coordinate defect resolution, retesting, and follow-up activities.
  • Support approved change management and business readiness plans.
  • Coordinate stakeholder lists, change-impact reviews, training activities, communications, and readiness actions.
  • Coordinate training logistics, scheduling, attendance, completion tracking, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Maintain readiness dashboards, trackers, RAID logs, integrated schedules, and status reports.
  • Support cutover, go-live, hypercare, and stabilization activities.
  • Prepare weekly status updates, risk summaries, meeting materials, and escalation packages.
  • Facilitate working sessions, document meeting minutes/actions, and follow up with responsible owners.
  • Work within established governance and escalate risks, issues, and decisions to appropriate business/program owners.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional IT or Business Transformation experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in PMO, project coordination, testing, change management, procurement, or ERP program support.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or ERP transformation programs.
  • Strong experience with SIT/UAT testing and test execution.
  • Experience with change management and business readiness.
  • Experience with documentation review, defect tracking, testing evidence, and readiness tracking.
  • Strong stakeholder coordination and follow-up skills.
  • Experience working with business SMEs, IT teams, and system integrators.
  • Strong communication, organization, documentation, and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Experience with JIRA, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP Ariba experience.
  • SAP ECC experience.
  • Source-to-Pay (S2P) / Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process knowledge.
  • Training coordination experience.
  • Cutover and go-live support experience.
  • Global stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience supporting APAC time zones.
  • Experience working across multiple concurrent workstreams.

Work Environment

  • 100% onsite in Milpitas, CA – 5 days per week.
  • Must be comfortable supporting workshops and stakeholders across multiple time zones, including APAC.
  • Role is focused on project execution and coordination under established program governance and does not carry independent solution-approval or business-owner authority.
