Position: Business Analyst Eagle PACE / STAR
Location: Boston, MA Hybrid

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong Eagle PACE and Eagle STAR experience to support investment management and financial systems initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of investment operations, portfolio/accounting data, requirements gathering, and business process analysis.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from business stakeholders.
• Work closely with Investment Management, Portfolio Accounting, Operations, and Technology teams.
• Support Eagle PACE and Eagle STAR applications and related investment data processes.
• Analyze portfolio, security, accounting, and reference data requirements.
• Create business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and data mapping documents.
• Work with technical teams on data integration, interfaces, and downstream reporting requirements.
• Support SIT/UAT, including test scenarios, test cases, defect tracking, and business validation.
• Perform data analysis and reconciliation using SQL where required.
• Investigate production issues and coordinate with technology teams for resolution.
• Participate in application enhancements, system upgrades, data migration, and integration projects.
• Communicate effectively with business users, developers, QA teams, and project stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst in the investment/financial services domain.
• Hands-on experience with Eagle PACE and/or Eagle STAR.
• Understanding of investment accounting, portfolio management, securities, and investment operations.
• Experience with requirements gathering and functional documentation.
• Experience with data mapping, data analysis, and reconciliation.
• Good SQL skills.
• Experience with SIT/UAT and defect management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Eagle Data Model, EagleML, Reference Data, Performance, or Data Mart.
• Knowledge of asset management, mutual funds, hedge funds, or institutional investment operations.
• Experience working with financial data integrations and downstream reporting systems.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
