Description
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a Long-term Contract assignment in Woburn, Massachusetts. This role supports high-priority digital and systems initiatives by combining business analysis, data-focused problem solving, and project coordination in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position works closely with technical and operational stakeholders to define requirements, improve data flow, and help move implementation efforts forward. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and turning business needs into practical technology solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead business analysis activities for data discovery, data mapping, and requirements definition across key IT and operational initiatives. Coordinate project execution by organizing action items, assigning ownership, tracking progress, and helping drive work from initiation through implementation. Partner with development teams, enterprise IT, vendors, cybersecurity, networking, and internal business groups to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Analyze how information moves between systems, identify process gaps, and recommend improvements that support reliable integration and digitization efforts. Prepare and deliver recurring project updates, facilitate status meetings, and maintain clear documentation for stakeholders and leadership. Support solution design by translating operational needs into detailed business and functional requirements for implementation teams. Assist with troubleshooting applications and data-related issues to help resolve process interruptions and improve system performance.

Contribute to the successful delivery of a major implementation project by balancing analytical tasks with project management responsibilities. Requirements
3+ years of experience in business analysis, IT analysis, or a blended business analyst/project management role. Hands-on experience gathering requirements, reviewing documentation, and performing gap analysis for technology-driven initiatives. Strong understanding of data mapping, data processing, and system-to-system information flow within enterprise environments.

Familiarity with ETL concepts and tools, including Datastage ETL or similar extract, transform, and load platforms. Experience working in Agile Scrum or other structured project delivery environments. Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional projects involving technical teams, vendors, and multiple business stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to run status meetings and present progress updates clearly. Comfortable working onsite in Woburn, Massachusetts, with an initial onsite schedule transitioning to a hybrid arrangement.
