Senior Cloud Developer

Senior Cloud Developer | Azure | Kubernetes | C#<br />No Sponsorship Option<br />Cambridge, 50% office working<br />£60,000-£75,000 I’m working with a technology business looking for a Senior Cloud Developer to join their R&amp;D team in Cambridge.<br />You’ll be working as part of a cross-functional engineering team, designing and building highly available SaaS services within a modern Azure environment.

What you'll be doing:<br />• Designing and developing scalable cloud services in Azure<br />• Building and supporting microservices and REST APIs using C#<br />• Working with Kubernetes / AKS and containerised applications<br />• Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation<br />• Working closely with other technical teams across the wider platform<br />• Helping identify and resolve technical issues across production environments<br />• Taking ownership of what you build and how it operates in production<br />• Supporting and mentoring less experienced engineers What they're looking for:<br />• Strong commercial experience developing cloud-based applications<br />• Strong knowledge of Azure – compute, storage, security, monitoring and diagnostics<br />• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, ideally AKS<br />• Strong C# / .NET development experience<br />• Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs<br />• Experience working within a CI/CD environment<br />• A proactive approach with strong ownership and problem-solving skills<br />• Good communication and collaboration skills Nice to have:<br />• Angular or other modern frontend frameworks<br />• Experience mentoring junior engineers<br />• Experience with SaaS platforms
