Power Platform Developer / Applications Support Engineer - Leeds / Sheffield
Are you an Applications Engineer who enjoys combining application support with hands-on development and automation?
My Leeds based client is looking to recruit an Applications Engineer to provide a support function whilst designing and delivering solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.
This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Dataverse, alongside key legal and professional services applications including iManage, Aderant Expert and Intapp.
Within this role, the Applications Engineer will:

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for key business applications.
• Design, build and maintain solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Dataverse.
• Develop workflows and automations that streamline business processes and reduce manual effort.
• Support applications including iManage Cloud, Aderant Expert, Intapp Time and Autologyx.
• Monitor integrations and data flows between core business systems.
• Produce dashboards and reporting to support management information requirements.
• Manage application upgrades, testing, configuration and release activity.
• Work with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Collaborate with third-party technology partners on new implementations before taking ownership of solutions internally.

Technically, the Applications Engineer will possess the following:

• Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.
• Experience developing solutions that have been deployed and supported in a live environment.
• Experience supporting or administering business applications.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online and Entra ID.
• An understanding of APIs, connectors and application integrations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
