IT Engineer

ATTAINX INC seeks an IT Engineer to design, implement, and support secure, scalable solutions for federal and commercial clients. You will work across cloud, virtualization, networking, and storage platforms, ensuring performance, reliability, and cybersecurity compliance. Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex issues, automating operations, and supporting modernization initiatives. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure IT infrastructure solutions for federal and commercial clients
• Configure and support cloud, virtualization, networking, and storage platforms
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure high availability
• Implement cybersecurity best practices, patching, and compliance controls
• Automate routine operations using scripts and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions
• Document architectures, configurations, and standard operating procedures
• Support upgrades, migrations, and modernization/digital transformation initiatives
• Participate in on-call or escalated support as needed
• Contribute to continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and process optimization
