Wargame Designer | Quantico, VA, United States | Hybrid This employer is seeking a skilled Wargame Designer to play a key role in advancing digital wargaming environments for a significant government customer. The position involves leveraging cutting-edge modeling and simulation capabilities to shape future strategic planning and decision-making processes. The Role • Create custom wargame designs to address specific objectives and research questions. • Integrate modeling and simulation tools into game design to advance future wargaming concepts. • Develop both physical and digital wargame products, including design documents, rule sets, and visual assets. • Facilitate and adjudicate wargames to ensure smooth execution and achievement of objectives. • Collaborate with a wargame design team, including game directors and lead analysts, to meet analytical goals. • Provide coordination assistance across various wargaming initiatives to ensure customer satisfaction. What You'll Need • Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of wargame design experience (or 10 years’ experience without a degree). • Familiarity with a wide variety of game mechanics, adjudication methods, and methodologies. • Ability to leverage digital wargaming platforms and simulation tools. • Demonstrated leadership experience in planning and directing wargame design work. • Proficiency in creating professional presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint. • TS/SCI clearance required to start, with the ability to obtain SAP.
