The Role
As an Employee Relations Specialist, you'll be a trusted advisor to managers across the UK and Republic of Ireland, providing practical, legally compliant guidance on a broad range of employee relations issues.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied caseload including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence and wellbeing matters.
- Providing expert advice to managers on complex employee relations issues.
- Supporting Employment Tribunal activity, including early conciliation, case preparation and documentation.
- Assisting with organisational change projects, including restructures, redundancy, redeployment and TUPE.
- Working closely with HR Business Partners and stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Reviewing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment legislation.
- Analysing employee relations trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and risk reduction.
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Previous experience in an Employee Relations Specialist or HR role managing complex casework.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation, with exposure to Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland legislation being advantageous.
- Confidence influencing and advising managers at all levels.
- Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
