Job Title: PL/SQL Developer

Location: Plano, TX [100% Onsite]

Job Function/Day to Day:

·       Expertise writing Oracle SQL and PLSQL code, performing data analysis, data modelling, designing and implementation of data APIs and performance tuning.

·       Expertise writing and maintaining batch jobs with technologies like ETL/Informatica and Autosys

·       Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application

·       Experience following ATDD (acceptance test driven development) and writing automated tests for database code.

·       Experience with cloud technologies is a bonus: Snowflake, S3

·       Interest in writing clean, testable, readable, easily maintainable, and performance code.

·       Knowledge of mid-tier technologies like Java, messaging technologies, web containers and understanding how they interact with data.

·       Comfortable working in an Agile software delivery environment, with exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.

·       Ability to translate storyboards and use cases into applications gives a strategic edge with critical thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.

·       Understanding of CI / CD processes & tools and are passionate about delivering high-quality software.

·       Providing leadership guidance, mentorship to empower team members to their optimum performance levels and career potential.

·       You will actively contribute to the code base while actively collaborating with multi-subject area team members and customers.  You’ll use your critical thinking skills to translate storyboards and use cases into applications that gives a strategic edge.

·       You will design and implementation of software solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements and that are aligned to the program’s strategic direction.

·       You will lead application design efforts, participate in design reviews, and code reviews.

·       Fully engaging in product quality plan efforts, including test case development, design and code reviews and regression testing aiming to automate majority of them.

·       Contribute to enhancing engineering practice in the areas of ATDD and CI/CD.

·       Engaging in working with global team of developers in leading standard methodologies for software engineering

Required Qualifications:

·       5+ years’ experience writing Oracle SQL and PLSQL code, performing data analysis, data modelling, designing and implementation of data APIs and performance tuning.

·       3+ years’ experience writing and maintaining batch jobs with technologies like ETL/Informatica and Autosys.

·       5+ years’ experience in fundamental design principles for building a scalable application.

·       5+ years’ experience following ATDD (acceptance test driven development) and writing automated tests for database code.

·       5+ years’ experience working in an Agile software delivery environment, with exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.

·       5+ yeas experience with cloud technologies - Snowflake, S3
