We are looking for an experienced Sr. Business Analyst to support enterprise analytics and data integration initiatives in California. This is a Long-term Contract opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who can bridge business needs with technical delivery across cloud and on-premise reporting environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Oracle analytics platforms, data pipeline coordination, and stakeholder collaboration to help deliver reliable, analytics-ready data solutions.

Responsibilities

Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, define data needs, and translate reporting objectives into practical analytics solutions. Support the design and coordination of data ingestion processes that move information from multiple source systems into Oracle analytics environments and enterprise data platforms. Analyze existing data flows and recommend efficient extract-and-load approaches that prioritize dependable movement, scheduling, and connectivity across systems.

Work closely with development and integration teams using tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Analytics Server, Azure Data Factory, Informatica, and Oracle databases to support reporting initiatives. Help onboard new data sources by validating business rules, documenting source-to-target requirements, and preparing datasets for downstream analytics and dashboard consumption. Monitor data quality, investigate inconsistencies, and assist in resolving issues affecting dashboards, reports, and analytical outputs.

Contribute to system integration efforts involving cloud services, external applications, and database platforms to ensure stable and scalable analytics operations. Create and maintain clear project documentation, status updates, process maps, and requirement artifacts for cross-functional teams and leadership. Support reporting and visualization needs across platforms such as Tableau and Power BI, including assisting with administration or migration-related activities when needed. Requirements
Strong experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise data, reporting, or analytics projects.

Hands-on knowledge of Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Analytics Server, and Oracle database environments. Experience working with data integration and pipeline tools such as Azure Data Factory, Informatica, or similar platforms. Solid understanding of extract-and-load methodologies, data mapping, source analysis, and analytics-ready dataset preparation. Ability to collaborate effectively with both business users and technical teams to define requirements and drive delivery.

Experience with data analysis in environments involving fraud analytics, anti-fraud initiatives, fraud investigation, or suspected fraud is highly valued. Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI. Strong documentation, problem-solving, and communication skills in complex enterprise settings.
