Join a financial services litigation team as a mid-level associate handling complex disputes and regulatory matters. You will work closely with partners on case strategy, client relationships, and matters affecting regulated financial institutions.

What You'll Do

  • Manage complex commercial and financial services litigation from pre-suit investigation through pleadings, discovery, trial preparation, and appeals.

  • Draft and argue motions, briefs, and memoranda in federal and state courts, and prepare submissions for arbitration proceedings.

  • Conduct and defend fact and expert witness depositions in high-stakes disputes.

  • Oversee document review and e-discovery in large-scale matters involving financial institutions and regulated entities.

  • Advise clients on litigation strategy, risk assessment, and regulatory exposure, including matters involving SEC, FINRA, CFPB, and OCC frameworks.

  • Collaborate with partners on case strategy, client relationships, and business development.

  • Research complex regulatory and common-law issues involving consumer finance, enforcement defense, broker-dealer disputes, fintech, and digital assets.

What We're Looking For

  • Five to seven years of financial services litigation experience, with a record representing banks, broker-dealers, investment advisers, financial advisors, asset managers, fintech companies, or similar clients.

  • Experience managing all phases of commercial litigation in federal and state courts and arbitration, including motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.

  • Active New York bar license in good standing and current authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

  • Experience with e-discovery and large-scale document review; familiarity with Westlaw, LexisNexis, Relativity or similar e-discovery platforms, PACER, and Microsoft Office.

  • Familiarity with financial regulatory frameworks and enforcement proceedings, as well as cryptocurrency or digital asset matters.

  • BigLaw or equivalent-caliber firm experience is preferred.
