NDT Level I - 1st Shift

Level One Magnetic Particle (MT) or Liquid Penetrant (PT): Under direct supervision of a Level Two or higher NDT Technician, Level One NDT Technicians performs basic NDT tasks such as staging work, moving product through the NDT process and miscellaneous support tasks. Level One NDT Technicians will demonstrate the ability to interpret work orders and follow work instructions. Experience or education in NDT required.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
• Adheres to quality processes including in-process inspection to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Correctly interpret work orders
• Perform basic NDT support tasks (staging work, etc.) See NAS410 - 1.5.3 (FPI & MPI)
• Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

• The ability to read and write English.
• The ability to perform basic shop math, including fractions and decimals
• The ability to use basic inspection tools
• The ability to read and interpret work instructions and basic prints and dimensions
• The ability to acquire Level 1 NDT certification (FPI & MPI)

Experience & Education

• Minimum 0-1 Years of recent and relevant work experience, NDT certification courses, or NDT training
• High School diploma or GED is expected

N-Never, O-Occasionally ( 80%)
