Senior Financial Analyst - Operations Finance - Remote

Financial Analyst II role at Thermo Fisher Scientific supporting the Lab Plastics Essentials business unit. The analyst will conduct financial planning and analysis, develop forecasting models, and deliver business insights to drive decision-making for a growing organization within a large global company.

Responsibilities
Analyze transactional and operational data to identify anomalies and ensure reporting accuracy
Develop standardized analyses and reports supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes
Build and maintain dashboards and business intelligence tools by mining data from various systems
Investigate data issues independently and collaborate with business partners to improve data quality
Analyze product and service profitability, identify P&L drivers, and support decision-making with ad hoc analysis
Requirements
Advanced degree with no prior experience, or bachelor's degree plus 2 years FP&A experience
Proficiency with SAP, Hyperion, Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar financial systems
Strong verbal and written communication with ability to present information concisely
Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and multitasking in fast-paced environments
Understanding of business processes, operations, and financial controls
Compensation:
$60,000–$90,000 base
