Job Description

Scientist LNP Formulation

  • W2 Only role.

Job Summary:

Seeking a hands-on Scientist I to formulate, optimize, and characterize lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for nucleic acid delivery in a biopharma environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and optimize LNPs and targeted LNPs for mRNA, siRNA, or DNA delivery.

  • Conduct Design of Experiments (DoE) screening and LNP characterization.

  • Support formulation development, scale-up, cryoprotection, and stability studies.

  • Analyze experimental data, maintain accurate records, and present results.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree with 5+ years of biopharma industry experience, or master s degree with 2+ years.

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on LNP formulation and nucleic acid encapsulation experience.

  • Experience with DLS, zeta potential, and RiboGreen assays.

  • Proficiency in Excel; JMP or GraphPad Prism preferred.

  • Targeted LNP formulation (mAb, Fab, scFv, or VHH coatings) and immune cell delivery experience.
