As a Cloud Engineer SME, a typical day will include the following duties: Work Requirements * Ability to design, develop, and deploy modular cloud‑based systems
* Experience developing software using Java, Python, C++, and Rukby
* Strong programming skills for accurate code interpretation and implementation
* Experience with DevOps / Platforms: AWS (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, Docker, Ansible, etc.)
* Documented experience with Open‑source technology, Software development, and System engineering
* Experience using DevOps tools for CI/CD: GitHub, Jenkins
* Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve Infrastructure vulnerabilities, and Application deployment issues
* Regularly review existing systems and recommend improvements and cost efficiencies
* Develop and maintain cloud solutions aligned with customer best practices
* Experience working on Agile Scrum development teams
* Ability to interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations
* Strong understanding of: Web services, APIs, REST
Desired Qualifications * Familiarity with Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes and artifact collection
* Ability to troubleshoot and support COTS and GOTS applications in Windows/Azure environments *A candidate must be a US Citizen and requires an active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
