Mechanical Project Manager – Commercial Fit Out Location: Central London / Surrey<br />Rate: £350 - £400 per day (CIS/Ltd)<br />Contract: Freelance The Opportunity We're working with a well-established M&amp;E contractor delivering high-quality commercial fit out projects across Central London. Due to a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee multiple mechanical packages ranging from £500k to £3m. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Project Manager who has a proven track record of delivering fast-paced CAT A &amp; CAT B commercial fit out projects and enjoys working within a collaborative and technically strong team. The Role As Mechanical Project Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical installations from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Typical responsibilities include:

• Managing mechanical fit out projects valued between £500k and £3m.
• Coordinating labour, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Producing and managing project programmes.
• Attending client, consultant and subcontractor meetings.
• Managing procurement and ensuring materials are delivered on time.
• Overseeing installation quality and ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Monitoring project costs and supporting commercial teams with variations.
• Managing commissioning, testing and project handovers.
• Maintaining excellent health &amp; safety standards across all sites. About You We're looking for someone who has:
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the commercial fit out sector.
• Experience delivering CAT A and CAT B office fit out projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, pipework and mechanical building services.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and site teams.
• A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (preferred). What's on Offer
