Location: Austin, MN
Summary:
Seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to design, configure, and maintain enterprise switching and routing infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a self-directed professional capable of independently executing standard network installations and configurations while collaborating effectively with engineering teams. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, network fundamentals expertise, and experience deploying enterprise networking equipment.
Required / Mandatory Skills:

• Experience with network engineering, including designing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise switching and routing infrastructure
• Strong understanding of the OSI model, particularly Layers 1-3 (Physical, Data Link, Network)
• Ability to troubleshoot network issues and identify the appropriate OSI layer involved
• Hands-on experience configuring and installing enterprise switches
• Hands-on experience configuring and installing enterprise routers
• Experience deploying network equipment at the access layer and distribution layer
• Ability to work independently on standard installations and configurations
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Nice to Have:

• Multi-Chassis EtherChannel (MEC) configuration experience
• SD-WAN deployment or administration experience

Qualification:

• Proven experience in enterprise network engineering environments
• Experience with switching and routing technologies in medium to large-scale networks
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment
• Experience performing hardware installations, configurations, and network troubleshooting
