Job Description

We are seeking an experienced System Analyst to analyze business requirements, evaluate existing information systems, and recommend technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and system performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive IT experience, strong analytical and documentation skills, and proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO).

The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and management to gather requirements, assess system capabilities, document functional and technical specifications, and support application development, implementation, maintenance, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business objectives, operational processes, and user requirements to identify system improvements and automation opportunities.

• Evaluate existing systems, identify issues, and recommend effective technical solutions based on business needs and cost-benefit analysis.

• Gather and document functional requirements, system specifications, program functions, workflows, and input/output requirements.

• Assess system capabilities, technical limitations, and scheduling requirements to determine solution feasibility.

• Support the design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems and applications.

• Prepare technical documentation, reports, process diagrams, flowcharts, standards, procedures, and instructional materials.

• Troubleshoot system and application issues and coordinate resolutions with technical teams.

• Provide technical assistance for application, hardware, and information-sharing requirements.

• Evaluate system security, interfaces, infrastructure, and operational support requirements.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective system integration and information exchange.

• Recommend improvements to IT processes, software development, implementation, and system maintenance.

• Assist in planning and coordinating system upgrades, modifications, testing, and deployment activities.

• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 14+ years of professional IT experience in systems analysis, information systems, application support, or related technical areas.

• 5+ years of proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO).

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

• Strong experience analyzing complex business and technical requirements.

• Knowledge of computer systems, hardware, software, operating systems, and application development processes.

• Experience preparing functional specifications, technical documentation, workflows, and system procedures.

• Ability to evaluate existing systems, identify operational challenges, and recommend effective solutions.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with management, business users, and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise applications and information systems.

• Knowledge of system design, software development, testing, implementation, and maintenance.

• Experience with system integration, security, interfaces, and technical troubleshooting.

• Ability to develop process diagrams, flowcharts, technical reports, and user documentation.

• Experience coordinating technical activities and supporting system improvement initiatives.
