Job Description Summary
The Industrial Electrician plays a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment and systems within our Chicago bakery. You will utilize your technical skills to troubleshoot complex electrical issues, minimize downtime, and execute preventive maintenance to optimize production line performance while strictly adhering to safety and quality standards
Key Responsibilities:
Execute all standard electrical work processes using AM (Autonomous Maintenance) and PM (Progressive Maintenance) standards.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair bakery equipment to maximize operational reliability.
Ensure all safety processes are observed, and quality assurance activities are strictly performed.
Identify, track, and report technical and equipment losses within your assigned area.

About This Position
The Industrial Electrician is vital to ensuring the continuity of our bakery''s production processes. This position involves direct ownership of the facility''s electrical infrastructure, minimizing manufacturing downtime through rapid troubleshooting and proactive preventive care. Ultimately, your expertise directly impacts the overall productivity and reliability of bakery’s operations.
Position Requirements
Education & Certifications:
Required: High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred: Degree or certification in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
Technical Must-Haves:
Proven industrial electrical experience working with 480V systems.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining PLC & VFD systems.
Proven experience troubleshooting complex manufacturing and production equipment.
Ability to accurately read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical schematics.
Preferred Skills:
7+ to 10 years’ experience
Experience with PLC programming, logic modification, and industrial system coding.
