Technical Sales Engineer

We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer in Greensburg, PA to drive sales growth for custom contr ol panels, automation solutions, and low-voltage electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical sales background with expertise in UL 508A contr ol panel design, industrial contr ols, and automation systems. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, system integrators, contractors, consulting engineers, and industrial end users.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for UL 508A contr ol panels, automation systems, and electrical contr ol solutions.
• Review customer specifications, electrical drawings, and project requirements to develop technical solutions and accurate quotations.
• Provide application engineering support and recommend appropriate contr ol system architectures and components.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Present technical presentations, product demonstrations, and provide customer training.
• Assist in preparing proposals, cost estimates, and bid packages.
• Support customers during project development, installation, startup, and commissioning phases.
• Maintain project pipelines, forecasts, and customer interactions within CRM systems.
• Remain current with industry standards including UL 508A, NEC, NFPA 79, and emerging automation technologies. Required Qualifications
• 3-10+ years of experience in industrial automation, electrical contr ols, contr ol panel manufacturing, or technical sales engineering.
• Firsthand experience with UL 508A industrial contr ol panel design, assembly, or project management.
• Thorough understanding of low-voltage contr ol systems, motor contr ols, PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, relays, instrumentation, and power distribution.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, panel layouts, one-line diagrams, and contr ol narratives.
• Demonstrated experience preparing technical proposals, quotations, and cost estimates.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and customer relationship management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and electrical design software.
• Ability to travel for customer meetings, site visits, and industry events.
