Job Description

Software Engineer (.NET Full Stack)

Location: Remote / Telecommute
Contract Length: 12 
Reports To (Title): COO of Widescope Consulting and Contracting

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

We're looking for a talented Software Engineer to join a high-performing development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building scalable applications and collaborating within an agile environment.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • .NET Core
  • C#
  • TypeScript
  • MS SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL
  • Proven ability to work effectively as a collaborative team player

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments
  • Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform
  • Python development experience
  • Facets platform experience
  • Strong understanding and practical application of:
  • Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
  • Test-Driven Development (TDD)

Note: This position will support Optum Serve’s performance of a United States (U.S.) Government contract and will require the successful applicant to access and/or process Non Critical Sensitive information (Personally Identifiable Information [PII]/Protected Health Information [PHI]) from or contained in a U.S.  Government IT system. 

To fulfill the data and IT system access requirements for this position, the successful applicant will be required to successfully complete a Trustworthy Determination, which will require the successful applicant to: 

1) Pass a National Agency
Check with law enforcement in order to obtain the access privileges required by the position

2) Pass a Credit Check in order to obtain the access privileges required by
the position.
