Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with a strong background in functional, automation, and API testing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing processes. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Required Skills:

Functional/ Manual Testing, Automation Testing, Utilizing Postman to create test scripts for RESTful APIs, Web Services and Microservices.

Performing manual and automated tests to ensure the smooth integration of software components and systems.

Defect Reporting: Identifying and reporting defects to development teams for resolution.

Test Documentation: Documenting test results and preparing test reports for stakeholders.

Database testing: experience in database testing Overall: 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on functional, automation, and API testing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Functional Testing:

o Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for functional testing. o Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.

o Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation.

2. Automation Testing:

o Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.

o Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing. o Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with the development team to resolve them.

3. API Testing:

o Create and execute API test plans and test cases to validate API functionality, performance, and security. o Utilize tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar to perform API testing.

o Ensure thorough coverage of API endpoints and maintain API test documentation
