SAP QA Lead – Oil & Gas

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Functional Test Automation Lead with strong SAP Oil & Gas knowledge and UiPath test automation expertise. The successful candidate will ensure automated tests accurately validate SAP business processes, maintain automation quality standards, identify coverage gaps, and guide automation engineers through testing and release cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Review UiPath automated test cases and workflows against SAP business requirements and functional specifications.
• Validate automation coverage, expected results, business rules, exception scenarios and test data.
• Ensure automated tests verify actual business outcomes, including pricing, inventory movements, product quantities and financial postings.
• Review end-to-end testing across SAP modules and integration points.
• Define automation review standards, quality gates, test coverage and regression testing strategies.
• Identify automation gaps, review failures and coordinate corrective actions.
• Lead and mentor automation engineers and functional analysts.
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, developers, business analysts and stakeholders.
• Support SAP implementations, upgrades, S/4HANA transformations, SIT, UAT and regression testing.

Required Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in SAP testing, QA or SAP functional delivery.
• Minimum 5 years of SAP Oil & Gas experience with IS-Oil and/or S/4HANA for Oil & Gas.
• Minimum 5 years of test automation experience, including at least 3 years leading teams or automation quality reviews.
• Hands-on experience with UiPath Test Suite, including Studio, Test Manager and Orchestrator.
• Knowledge of SAP GUI and Fiori testing, automation frameworks, reusable components, test data management and regression testing.
• Experience with SAP business processes such as transportation, distribution, pricing, inventory and financial postings.
• Experience with SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades or S/4HANA transformation programs.

Preferred: Experience with Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify, SAP CBTA, Selenium, SAP Cloud ALM or SAP Solution Manager. Upstream SAP Oil & Gas knowledge, including JVA, PRA or UOM, is an advantage.
