Senior Java Technical Lead

Job Overview

We are seeking highly experienced Senior Java Technical Leads, Principal Java Engineers, and Java Architects with 15+ years of experience in enterprise application development, architecture, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable enterprise Java applications.

• Architect and develop microservices-based applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.

• Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and establish engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with product managers, architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering teams.

• Drive application modernization, performance optimization, and cloud-native development initiatives.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and enterprise integration solutions.

• Mentor senior and junior developers and guide teams on technical decisions.

• Troubleshoot complex production issues and ensure application reliability, security, and scalability.

• Contribute to technical roadmaps, architecture decisions, and end-to-end project delivery.

Required Technical Skills

• 15+ years of professional software development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.

• Expertise in microservices architecture and RESTful API development.

• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and system design.

• Experience with distributed systems, relational databases, and enterprise application architecture.

• Experience with application performance tuning, debugging, and production support.

• Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering enterprise-scale applications.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.

• Knowledge of Kafka, messaging systems, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing.

• Background in large-scale enterprise environments and complex application modernization projects.

• Previous experience in senior technical leadership or architecture roles.
