At Liaison, we’ve helped higher education institutions build better, more diverse classes for three decades. You may recognize us as the company behind the Centralized Application Service (CAS), Enrollment Marketing services and platform (EMP), SlideRoom, Time2Track, TargetX (CRM) and Othot.

Everything we do is focused on taking that proven success and expanding its scope and scale. Over 31,000 programs on more than 1,000 campuses see us as a forward-thinking partner integral to meeting their total enrollment goals — and we’re building the data- and mission-driven team that will reinforce our role for decades to come.

The Data Curator works closely with others on the team, as well as our customers, to help democratize machine learning. This role works on challenging projects to develop new features on our platform and strengthens our infrastructure.

  • Contribute creative feature engineering solutions for use in customer models
  • Build out necessary configuration files to deploy customer models
  • Communicate technical data requirements, project timelines, and updates to both internal and external stakeholders (both written and verbally)
  • Serve as an authority and consultant alongside the Client Success team to guide new clients through implementation and existing clients through data updates
  • Collaborate in designing and improving the functionalities of internal tools and products

  • Automate or help automate as many manual data analysis activities as possible

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in math, computer science, business administration and information systems or another relevant field required
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Background or familiarity with statistics and business analytics
  • Capacity to work independently and/or as part of a team
  • Preferred, but not necessary: computer programming skills, specifically SQL and Python
