About the Role
The Product Transformation team is looking for a Data Analytics & Business Intelligence Engineer to help measure, visualize, and accelerate technology and AI-enabled transformation across the organization.
In this role, you will bring together data from a fragmented ecosystem of business intelligence platforms, engineering systems, APIs, and manual data sources to create reliable insights for technology leaders. You will go beyond building dashboards by identifying trends, uncovering bottlenecks, measuring outcomes, and translating complex technical data into clear executive-level narratives.
You will also help the organization understand how engineering productivity tools, AI capabilities, and technical licenses are being adopted and where they are delivering measurable value.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytics and data-integration skills with strategic thinking, executive storytelling, and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving transformation environment.
What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and enhance Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting solutions that communicate technology, engineering, product, and AI transformation outcomes.
• Integrate and analyze data from multiple sources, including APIs, databases, BI platforms, engineering tools, telemetry, and manually maintained spreadsheets.
• Transform an early-stage, spreadsheet-based reporting environment into a scalable, maintainable, and increasingly real-time analytics solution.
• Develop meaningful metrics and reporting around engineering productivity, Agile delivery, development lifecycles, AI adoption, and organizational performance.
• Identify trends, bottlenecks, anomalies, and opportunities within complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business insights.
• Build executive-ready visualizations that clearly communicate performance, trends, risks, opportunities, and business outcomes.
• Develop cohesive data narratives that enable senior leaders to understand complex technical issues and make informed decisions.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Strategy, Analytics, and CIO-aligned teams to define reporting needs and measurement strategies.
• Support technology license and access optimization, including allocation of engineering and AI tools based on developer archetypes, business needs, adoption patterns, and use cases.
• Consolidate telemetry and reporting from disparate systems to measure productivity and demonstrate value realization.
• Identify successful use cases and patterns, then help translate them into reusable playbooks that can scale across lines of business.
• Support enablement activities such as office hours, training, and best-practice sharing with principal engineers, architects, and productivity champions.
• Independently investigate data quality and reporting challenges, determine root causes, and recommend solutions without requiring step-by-step direction.

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or a related technology discipline.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data integration.
• Experience connecting disparate data sources using technologies such as REST or GraphQL APIs, JSON/XML, webhooks, JDBC/ODBC, data connectors, or event-streaming technologies.
• Experience analyzing complex datasets to identify trends, performance issues, root causes, and opportunities.
• Experience developing reporting or analytics for Agile, Product, Engineering, or Technology organizations.
• Ability to translate complex technical data into concise, meaningful insights for non-technical and executive audiences.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business stakeholder groups.
• Ability to independently manage ambiguous problems and drive work from initial analysis through actionable recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Tableau or other enterprise visualization platforms.
• Experience using Jira data for Agile, product, or engineering analytics.
• Experience within a large financial institution or corporate banking environment.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and autonomous engineering tools such as:
  • GitHub Copilot
  • Devin
  • Claude Code
  • Cursor
• Working knowledge of coding and APIs sufficient to quickly establish data connectivity and automate analytical workflows.
• Experience measuring engineering productivity, AI adoption, developer experience, or technology transformation initiatives.
• Experience developing reusable reporting frameworks, analytical playbooks, or measurement standards for multiple business units.
• Demonstrated ability to create executive-ready data visualizations and narratives from complex or incomplete data ecosystems.
