CNA - 3pm to 11pm - Weekend availability especially needed

Rosewood Manor is a rest home in Harwich with twenty-seven residents. We are hiring CNAs for second shift, 3pm to 11pm. Weekend availability is what we need most.

Twenty-seven residents, and enough staff to care for them

Small census, low resident-to-staff ratios. You are not running from room to room trying to get everyone through dinner. You have time to sit with someone who is having a hard evening.

You get to know all twenty-seven. Their history, their baseline, which daughter calls on a Tuesday. When something changes, you have time to notice it.

A rest home, not a nursing home

Our residents need assistance and supervision rather than skilled nursing. The evening is dinner, activities, help with bathing, dressing and toileting, and getting everyone comfortable for the night.

The building is a house

Built for a sea captain in the mid-1800s. An antique cape on Main Street, expanded and modernized since, still the size of a house. Exposed beams, a fireplace in the common room, a dining room where everyone eats together, gardens outside. The evenings are quiet.

Weekends

Weekends are where we need most, and they are the easiest way to pick up hours here. If you can work them, say so when you get in touch.

• Active Massachusetts CNA certificate
• Experience caring for older adults, including residents with cognitive impairment
• Weekend availability, ideally

The pay rate for this position is $24.00 to $25.00 per hour, with some shift differential. Full-time staff also receive the following:
