We are seeking an experienced SAP Plant Maintenance (PM / Enterprise Asset Management) consultant for a contract engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, enhancing, and supporting SAP PM/EAM processes, with a particular emphasis on integrating SAP PM with external systems (IoT/condition-monitoring platforms, CMMS/mobile maintenance apps, GIS, historians, and third-party service providers). This is a hands-on delivery role for a self-directed contractor who can operate with minimal supervision and produce clear, well-documented solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support core SAP PM/EAM processes: technical objects (functional locations, equipment, BOMs), maintenance task lists, preventive/planned maintenance, maintenance orders and notifications, breakdown/corrective maintenance, refurbishment, and maintenance planning/scheduling.
• Design, build, and support integrations between SAP PM and external systems, including inbound/outbound interfaces for work orders, notifications, measurement documents, equipment master data, and confirmations.
• Work with integration technologies such as SAP PI/PO, SAP Integration Suite (CPI), OData/REST APIs, BAPIs, IDocs, and web services (SOAP) to connect SAP PM with IoT platforms, condition monitoring, mobile maintenance solutions, and asset performance management tools.

• Produce functional design documents, interface mapping documents, configuration workbooks, and test scripts.
• Support integration with adjacent SAP modules — MM (procurement of spares/services), PP (production/downtime), FI/CO (settlement/costing), and QM — ensuring end-to-end process integrity.
• Lead or support testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT), defect resolution, cutover, and hypercare.
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to client teams and AMS/support.
