Azure Infrastructure & Storage Engineer

job summary:

We are seeking an Azure Infrastructure & Storage Engineer to join our cloud operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing cloud infrastructure, storage governance, backup and disaster recovery, and cost efficiency across enterprise Azure environments.

responsibilities:

• Manage Azure subscriptions, storage services (Blob, File Shares, Managed Disks), and RBAC access policies.
• Implement cloud governance, lifecycle management, and retention policies.
• Monitor platform health, capacity, and performance using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Identify and execute cost optimization and cloud utilization efficiency initiatives.
• Support enterprise backup, recovery, and business continuity procedures.
• Execute change management and incident resolution adhering to ITIL standards.

qualifications:

5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure operations and Azure system administration.

Demonstrated hands-on expertise with Azure Storage Services, Azure Backup, and Azure RBAC.

Proficient in automation and scripting using PowerShell and Azure CLI.

Solid experience operating within ITIL-aligned service management environments.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or AZ-305.

Experience working in regulated or security-conscious enterprise environments.
