AVP, Infrastructure Debt



About the Opportunity:

A growing institutional investment platform is seeking an AVP to join its Infrastructure Debt team in New York. This role offers the opportunity to evaluate, underwrite, and execute debt investments across a diverse infrastructure landscape, including digital infrastructure, power, renewables, transportation, and social infrastructure. The position sits within a lean, collaborative investment team, providing direct exposure to senior professionals, meaningful responsibility from day one, and the ability to contribute to a rapidly expanding investment platform.



What You'll Do:

  • Evaluate and execute infrastructure debt investment opportunities across North America
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and underwriting materials
  • Conduct industry, market, and company research to support investment recommendations
  • Perform credit analysis, due diligence, and risk assessments on prospective investments
  • Prepare investment memoranda, committee materials, and internal presentations
  • Support transaction execution from initial screening through closing
  • Monitor portfolio investments and provide ongoing performance analysis
  • Work closely with senior investment professionals on sourcing, structuring, and portfolio management initiatives
  • Participate in discussions with sponsors, lenders, advisors, and management teams


Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, project finance, infrastructure finance, debt investing, private credit, or a related field
  • Demonstrated interest in infrastructure and real asset investing
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities
  • Experience supporting transaction execution, underwriting, or investment evaluation processes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a lean, entrepreneurial team environment
