Sales Administrator

We are looking for a skilled administrator with direct experience in sales admin or a customer service role.
The Sales Administrator provides essential administrative support to the Sales department, acting as the first point of contact for new and existing contacts, processing orders, and quoting for any spare parts enquiries.
You will be required to be a flexible member of our team, taking on any number of tasks to support the sales team as required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Process sales orders and ensure accurate documentation.
• Prepare quotations based on customer requests.
• Follow up on quotations and convert them into orders where possible.
• Coordinate with internal departments (production, logistics, finance) to ensure timely fulfilment of orders.
• Act as the point of contact for new and existing customers.
• Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system.
• Assist in preparing monthly sales reports and performance metrics.

Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with SAP.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience:

Previous experience in a sales administration role, ideally within a marine or technical environment.
