Position Overview
Epiq Global is seeking detail-oriented Paralegals to join its Settlement Administration team. In this customer-facing role, you will assist plaintiffs through the documentation submission process while handling escalated inquiries related to settlement administration. The ideal candidate is comfortable interacting with callers, interpreting legal documentation, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
This is a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) remote opportunity with a quick onboarding timeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide plaintiffs through the documentation collection and filing submission process.
- Handle escalated calls and emails from Contact Center agents.
- Review and interpret settlement agreements and court-related documentation.
- Resolve complex claimant inquiries accurately and professionally.
- Serve as a liaison between Contact Center Operations and Client Services.
- Identify escalation trends and recommend process improvements.
- Assist with scripting recommendations for common escalation scenarios.
- Maintain detailed documentation of customer interactions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the Hypercare Escalation Team.
Required Qualifications
- Paralegal Certification OR Juris Doctorate (JD) required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable interacting directly with callers and claimants.
- Ability to quickly learn new legal subject matter.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze legal documentation and explain information clearly.
- Experience handling complex customer inquiries.
- Prior contact center or customer support experience is preferred.
