Inspired by the south of France, and infused with California soul, Auberge du Soleil features wine country’s most luxurious accommodations, spectacular valley views, a Michelin Star Restaurant, and a tranquil wellness retreat reserved exclusively for hotel guests. Nestled within a 33-acre hillside olive grove, the “Inn of the Sun” is celebrated for delivering passionate, intuitive service that embodies gracious Napa Valley hospitality. The 50 residential-style rooms, suites and private maisons set the stage for romance in the seclusion of the adult-oriented environment. The property is a long-standing member of Relais & Châteaux, an international association of outstanding boutique properties known for their excellence in hospitality and the culinary arts, and the flagship hotel for the Auberge Collection.
The Restaurant Reservationist is an integral part of the Food and Beverage team, ensuring a well orchestrated and seamless dining experience. The role involves efficiently receiving and recording guests' restaurant reservations while prioritizing the fulfillment of all requests and needs with a gracious touch.
- Receive and record guests' reservations whether in person, via phone and input them into Open Table ensuring Auberge Resorts Collection standards are met
- Assign reservations according to customer's request and knowledge of the restaurant and flow of business
- Ensure menus are up to date, clean & mark free
- Maintain a complete knowledge of menu and all related menu items
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
The rate for this position is $20.00-23.00/hour. This is the pay rate for this position that Auberge du Soleil reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
- A minimum of one-year experience in the foodservice / hospitality industry.
- Prior experience in a luxury setting and good knowledge of food and wine is preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
