Sr. Business Systems Analyst
Location: Newport Beach, CA (Hybrid - 4 days onsite per week)
Pay Rate: $62-$66/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking a Sr. Business Systems Analyst to join a collaborative and fast-paced technology organization. This role is responsible for leading software delivery efforts, partnering with business and technical stakeholders, and ensuring successful execution of complex projects within an agile environment.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, skilled at managing priorities, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and driving high-quality software delivery from concept through implementation.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex software projects across multiple engineering teams and stakeholder groups.
• Act as an agile leader and delivery manager for software initiatives.
• Partner with business and technology teams to define priorities, manage delivery timelines, and drive project success.
• Coordinate project activities, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Foster collaboration and alignment among analysts, developers, engineers, and business partners.
• Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
• Prioritize and deliver solutions iteratively in a rapidly changing environment.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high-quality software delivery.
• Provide thought leadership related to people, process, and technology improvements.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience leading software projects within an integrated agile team.
• Broad experience with software delivery, including benefits, time, cost, and risk management.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, agile software development team.
• Good working knowledge of software integration, automation, and business process improvement solutions.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, build consensus, and facilitate decision-making.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with agile methodologies, software delivery practices, automation initiatives, and AWS cloud technologies.
• Experience within the life insurance and annuity industry.
• Experience supporting technology modernization initiatives.
• Demonstrated success leading projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
