Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support strategic initiatives within our Private Markets and Investments organization. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and third-party vendors to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support the delivery of solutions related to private investment operations and data management.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with eFront, a strong understanding of private investments/private markets data, and a proven ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements within a financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to understand business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Serve as the liaison between business users, technology teams, and external vendors.
• Analyze and document current-state and future-state business processes.
• Create business requirements documents, process flows, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Support initiatives involving private markets investment data, including portfolio, fund, investor, and performance-related information.
• Work closely with teams leveraging eFront to support configuration, reporting, integrations, and process enhancements.
• Assist with data analysis, data validation, and reconciliation efforts to ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with QA and business users to support testing, UAT planning, and validation activities.
• Identify risks, issues, dependencies, and process improvement opportunities throughout project lifecycles.
• Support project delivery within agile, hybrid, or traditional project environments.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience within financial services, investment management, asset management, banking, or related industries.
• Hands-on experience with eFront.
• Strong understanding of private investments/private markets, including:
  • Private Equity
  • Private Credit
  • Real Estate Investments
  • Alternative Investments
• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Proven ability to facilitate discussions with business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Experience with data analysis and data mapping.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting investment operations, portfolio management, fund accounting, or investment reporting functions.
• Familiarity with data warehousing, reporting, and analytics platforms.
• Experience working with system implementations, upgrades, or platform migrations.
• Knowledge of SQL and data query tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
