Manufacturing Engineer
Long Eaton
£45,000 per year + Training + Early finish on Fridays + 33 days holiday
Are you a Manufacturing/Production Engineer looking to join an internationally recognised manufacturing company that offers excellent training and the opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing technology?
On offer is an exciting opportunity to join an established engineering team, where you will be responsible for supporting production, driving continuous improvement and working on a range of projects including new product introduction, tooling, automation and process optimisation.
The company are a well-established and highly respected manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality and innovation. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join the team.
This role would suit someone with a manufacturing/production engineering background who is looking for a new role with a market-leading manufacturer and wants to develop their technical skills further.
The Role:
- Provide technical engineering support, driving continuous improvement, NPI and the installation/optimisation of production equipment, including ABB robotic automation
- Creating SOP's and BOM's as part of the engineering process.
- Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm, 12:30 finish on Fridays
The Person:
- Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer, Process Engineer ideally within an automated manufacturing environment
- Electrical quals preferred
- Experience with lean manufacturing processes
- Experience with Solidworks drawings and CNC are desirable but training can be provided if not
