Multi-Skilled Engineer<br />Location: Clitheroe Salary: Up to £47,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 1:30pm-10pm We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company in Clitheroe. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the efficiency and reliability of production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform reactive and proactive maintenance across a range of packaging and process equipment.<br />Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks as directed.<br />Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults to minimise downtime and maintain production flow.<br />Work closely with Line Leaders and Production teams to optimise operational efficiency and equipment uptime.<br />Carry out general building and facilities maintenance across the site.<br />Maintain accurate documentation and records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and PPMs, ensuring departmental paperwork is complete and up to date.<br />Support projects involving machinery upgrades, installations, and site improvement works.<br />Identify and manage spare parts requirements, maintaining appropriate stock levels.<br />Communicate technical and operational issues promptly to relevant departments.<br />Attend meetings and deputise for the Senior Engineer when required.<br />Lead maintenance and improvement projects to agreed deadlines.<br />Comply with all Health &amp; Safety policies, procedures, and best practices at all times.Requirements: Relevant industry qualification (e.g. HNC/ONC/NVQ in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering).<br />Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing, production or FMCG environment.<br />Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Desirable Skills: FMCG experience.<br />Packaging machinery experience.<br />Chemical and hygiene awareness.Benefits: Salary sacrifice schemes (EV, cycle-to-work, pension)<br />Retail discount platform<br />On-site parking, EV charging<br />Wellbeing and financial support services<br />Gym discounts<br />Training and career development<br />Mentoring support<br />Volunteering days and charity initiatives<br />This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a stable, rewarding role in a growing company.In return for your commitment my client offers a stable and secure career for a technically motivated engineer.
