OpenStack & Python Developer (m/f/d)

For our client, we are looking for a freelance OpenStack & Python Developer (m/f/d) with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure, storage, and virtualization.

Start - ASAP

Fulltime (40h/week)

Duration - 6 months+

Fully remote in European timezone

Tasks

• Develop and enhance cloud infrastructure solutions using OpenStack and Kubernetes
• Implement and optimize storage solutions with OpenStack Cinder and Manila
• Develop and automate infrastructure processes using Python
• Integrate and manage NetApp storage systems
• Configure and optimize virtualization environments using KVM or VMware
• Support the operation and scaling of complex cloud infrastructures
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and storage-related issues

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in OpenStack (Cinder & Manila) and Kubernetes
• Excellent Python development skills (mandatory)
• Hands-on experience with NetApp and KVM (mandatory)
• Knowledge of hypervisors, preferably KVM or VMware
• Strong understanding of storage technologies and cloud infrastructure
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure and cloud-native environments
• Experience in infrastructure automation and integration
