Job Overview
The ideal candidate will provide technical engineering support for our large federal government agency’s highly complex network infrastructure environment to include multiple enclaves comprising various classification levels. The ideal candidate will engage with Network Compliance and Monitoring (NCM) activities as directed by the Project Lead, including performing updates in configurations and software that align with the strategies and directives of the engineering teams. Core Responsibilities
Monitoring and analyzing enterprise networks.

Provide technical guidance and support to the Government, Project Lead, and other Network Analyst in support of monitoring and managing the customer networks. Maintain awareness of trends and best practices related to networks, technology and IT-related topics and provide recommendations to the Project Lead and Government on possible improvements or changes to customer systems and processes. Provide high-quality and professional customer service in all interactions.

Use the Enterprise Network Monitoring Platform to analyze and provide data and documentation related to the network performance of any or all network components. Requirements
Active Top-Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI
Must be able to work 100% onsite at the customer facility
Minimum of 3 years of relevant IT experience with specialization in networking technologies, specifically with Cisco switches and routers and analyzing complex networks
Working knowledge of web applications, web servers, application load balancers and storage systems.

Must have good knowledge of general network and security tools and methodologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS and access control lists. Moderate skill in scripting / coding (python, go, Perl, Bash, etc.) in order to support network automation tasks. Preferred Additional Skills and Qualifications
CCNA or higher certification
Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related area
Moderate skill in scripting / coding (python, go, Perl, Bash, etc.) in order to support network automation tasks. Have knowledge and experience configuring and monitoring cryptographic devices.

Experience in network engineering within the federal intelligence community
Ability to adhere to a disciplined troubleshooting methodology, and ensure task/mission completion, along with creating and maintaining necessary information. Highly self-motivated and directed, with attention to detail.
