Human Resources Rep - Temp to Perm

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
Human Resources Administrator to join a growing and well-established heavy civil infrastructure company in Connecticut. This is a full-time, in-office opportunity for an HR professional looking to take on a key role within the organization and have a direct impact on employees, leadership, recruiting, and company policies. The HR Administrator will work closely with leadership to support and improve HR strategies, recruitment efforts, employment policies, benefits, employee relations, payroll, and compliance.

This position will serve as an important resource for both employees and management, while helping develop and implement initiatives focused on hiring, retention, employee engagement, and organizational growth. Manage the full recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, interviews, and onboarding. Support payroll and HRIS processes. Develop and refine HR policies and procedures in partnership with leadership. Address employee relations matters and facilitate communication between employees and management.

Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
3+ years of HR experience within the construction industry.
~ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
~ Strong knowledge of labor laws, payroll regulations, and HR best practices.
~ Experience with HRIS, payroll software, Excel, and Word.
~ Ability to work full-time in the office; no remote option.
70K–$80K depending on experience, with a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and paid holidays.
