About the Role:
We are looking for a Dynamics 365 Configuration Specialist / Administrator to support the ongoing configuration, administration, and optimization of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment.
In this role, you will work closely with business users, functional consultants, solution architects, and technical teams to ensure Dynamics 365 is effectively configured to support business processes and evolving operational needs.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 configuration and administration, a good understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform, and the ability to translate business requirements into practical system configurations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Administer and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments based on business requirements.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective D365 configurations.
  • Configure Dynamics 365 entities, fields, forms, views, dashboards, business rules, and business processes.
  • Manage and maintain Dataverse configurations.
  • Configure and maintain security roles, business units, teams, users, and access permissions.
  • Manage Dynamics 365 solutions and configuration changes across environments.
  • Support configuration of Dynamics 365 CE and Field Service capabilities.
  • Configure Field Service functionality including work orders, bookings, resources, customer assets, agreements, and related processes.
  • Support configuration of Customer Engagement capabilities such as accounts, contacts, cases, activities, leads, and opportunities.
  • Configure and maintain Power Automate flows and other Power Platform components where required.
  • Monitor system usage, configuration issues, and user-reported problems.
    Troubleshoot configuration-related issues and coordinate with development or technical teams when customization is required.
  • Support testing activities, including system testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Manage and document configuration changes and maintain appropriate system documentation.
  • Support D365 upgrades, releases, and environment changes.
  • Help establish and maintain configuration standards, governance, and best practices.
  • Provide training, guidance, and day-to-day support to D365 users.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes through better D365 configuration and automation.
  • Work collaboratively with global business and technology teams to support continuous improvement of the D365 platform.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365, preferably Dynamics 365 CE and/or Field Service.
  • Strong hands-on experience in D365 configuration and administration.
  • Good understanding of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Field Service.
  • Strong knowledge of Dataverse and D365 data structures.
  • Experience configuring:
    Entities and tables
    Fields
    Forms
    Views
    Dashboards
    Business rules
    Business processes
    Security roles
    Teams and business units
  • Experience with user and security administration within Dynamics 365.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Experience managing D365 solutions and configuration across multiple environments.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into system configurations.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of D365 release management and change management practices.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Platform certifications.
  • MB-240 – Dynamics 365 Field Service Functional Consultant certification.
  • PL-200 – Power Platform Functional Consultant certification.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience supporting global D365 implementations.
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, manufacturing, automotive, or field-service-oriented industries.
  • Experience working with enterprise-level Dynamics 365 environments.
