Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Partial Remote)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to manage and modernize an enterprise Alteryx platform. This role ensures platform stability, security, and compliance across multiple environments while supporting upgrades, migrations, and user enablement. The position is a contract role with the potential for conversion to a full-time employee, offering growth into an Infrastructure Engineer - 4 position.
Key Responsibilities

• Support Alteryx Servers to ensure availability for users.
• Install, patch, and monitor multi-node servers; manage workflow performance and uptime.
• Execute version upgrades, license renewals, SSL certificate management, and MongoDB instance merges.
• Plan and execute server moves from heritage data centers to next-generation facilities.
• Remediate vulnerabilities and maintain secure authentication credentials.
• Implement password vault integration and automate environment setup where possible.
• Install and configure new drivers and connectors following SDLC progression.
• Provide Level 2 support, optimize workflows, and enhance monitoring scripts.
• Deliver licensing reports and maintain documentation of processes.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years in software engineering or related technical roles.
• Strong understanding of Windows Server maintenance and patching.
• Proficiency in scripting (Batch, PowerShell) and Alteryx Swagger API.
• Experience with multi-node architecture and load balancer configuration.
• Proven experience managing enterprise-scale platforms, preferably data analytics or workflow automation tools.
• Understanding of DNS, SSL/TLS, and load balancing in multi-node environments.
• Familiarity with vulnerability remediation, patch management, and enterprise security standards.
• Ability to manage and troubleshoot MongoDB and SQL Server environments.
• Experience with ITIL processes or similar frameworks for incident and change management.
• Kanban experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Alteryx Core Certification and Alteryx Server Administration Certification.
• Hands-on experience with Alteryx workflow deployment and gallery administration.
• Python development (1+ years).
• REST API development and integration.
• SQL Server and MongoDB experience.
• CI/CD pipeline setup and GitHub usage.
• Google Cloud Platform fundamentals and server migration experience.
• Experience with driver setup and installation across Windows/Linux environments.
• Ability to analyze and optimize workflows and server configurations for scalability.
