The Role

• Assembling steel structures in 110kV to 380kV switchgear (air and gas-insulated systems), contributing to critical energy infrastructure projects.
• Installing high-voltage and medium-voltage equipment and electrical systems, including mounting essential components like HS terminals and insulators.
• Performing the assembly and disassembly of screwed and pressed connections, as well as pipe and cable assembly with cable pulling.
• Reviewing and marking up plan documents to ensure accuracy and compliance during construction.

What You'll Need

• A completed vocational training in metalworking, such as a Metalworker, Industrial Mechanic, Structural Mechanic, or Plant Mechanic, or a comparable qualification.
• Prior experience in metalworking, ideally from construction, mechanical engineering, energy technology, or the metal processing industry.
• Preferably experience with the safe handling of electrical installations.
• A valid Class B driver's license and willingness to travel to sites with your own vehicle.
• Readiness for regular assembly assignments (Monday-Friday) throughout southwestern Germany, including overnight stays.
• Good German language skills and a proactive, self-motivated work approach.
