About the Role
Engineering Square is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join the Enterprise Applications team of a leading U.S.-based energy technology company.
In this role, you will design, develop, integrate, and support enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, Financing, and Operations platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce development, NetSuite ERP integrations, enterprise architecture, DevOps, and AI-enabled solutions.
You will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA engineers, administrators, and product owners to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
1. Salesforce Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and Platform Events.
  • Build scalable, reusable, and high-performance Salesforce solutions.
  • Implement business logic and automation across Sales, Service, Financing, and Operations.
2. Enterprise Integrations
  • Design and implement integrations between Salesforce, NetSuite ERP, AWS, and third-party applications.
  • Develop and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs.
  • Work with middleware platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft, and Informatica.
  • Apply enterprise integration patterns and secure authentication mechanisms.
3. Technical Design and Code Quality
  • Create technical designs, solution architecture documents, and implementation specifications.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
4. DevOps and Release Management
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce DX (SFDX), GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
  • Implement automated deployments, code quality checks, and static analysis using PMD.
  • Manage releases across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues and support release planning.
5. Production Support
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve system reliability.
  • Support ongoing enhancements, maintenance, and production releases.
6. AI and Emerging Technologies
  • Develop AI-enabled Salesforce solutions using Salesforce Einstein and Agentforce.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI capabilities to improve business processes and user productivity.
7. Collaboration and Agile Delivery
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, QA teams, administrators, and product owners.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
  • Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of overall software development experience.
  • 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, particularly with Apex and LWC.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce platform development, including SOQL/SOSL, Flows, JavaScript, and Platform Events.
  • Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with NetSuite ERP and other enterprise applications.
  • Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, enterprise integration patterns, and secure API communication.
  • Experience with Salesforce DX (SFDX), GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and PMD.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and software release management.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Einstein AI and Agentforce.
  • Experience with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and SQS.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with OAuth, Named Credentials, and secure integration practices.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.

  • Salesforce AI Associate or Salesforce AI Specialist
Preferred
